EVENT DESCRIPTION:
The European Committee of the Regions (CoR) holds one meeting in the country of the presiding Council of the EU. The meeting is attendy by 65 Bureau members and administrative staff. Representatives of relevant associations and local and regional self-governments are also welcome to attend the meeting.
The European Committee of the Regions Bureau meets bi-annually at an external meeting organized in the presiding country. The aim of the meeting is to estabilish a continual dialogue with the Presidency, especially when it comes to specific local and regional issues. The meetings outside of Brussels also allow the Presidency members to employ in direct discussions with local and regional representatives and facilitate the exchange of best practices in terms of political debate.
CONTENT:
The meeting will focus on the impacts of the Ukraine crisis on local and regional self-governernment in the Czech Republic.
